Generation Alive - February 2020

The Spokane Findlay Charity committee gathered together at Bowdish Middle School to attend a Generation Alive assembly and present a donation of $5,000!

We got to watch their Action Team - made up of student leaders that go through a 14 week program - teach their peers about awareness of food insecurity, empowerment, compassion and empathy. Generation Alive works to develop the next generation of thinkers, leaders and doers to make the world a better place that we have made it. 

The $5,000 donation will go to their 'Something to Eat' program, it will purchase 25,000 lbs. of rice that will be apart of nutritious meals benefiting several of the 70,000 food insecure people in our Spokane area. 

Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff

We have created an awesome fundraising team to support The Salvation Army's programs - helping Spokane's most vulnerable women, children, and families - AND YOU CAN HELP US!!!

Our Company Team will ring bells on Thursday, November 15th and we have challenged other Downtown Spokane businesses to do the same.  

Help support us, and the Salvation Army, by making a donation to our team. The process is fast, easy, and secure... and you can be sure that it will benefit a great cause!  

August, 2015 - Dan Kleckner's Golf Classic for Wounded Warriors Project

The Findlay Spokane Dealerships donated $5,000 to the Dan Kleckner Golf Classic that will go to the Wounded Warrior Project! General Managers Bob Mclean (Lexus), Scott Brewer (Toyota), Steve St. Germain (Honda) and Steve Styren (Hyundai) met with the group to present the check and meet the wonderful people behind this incredible charity.


July, 2015 - Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane

The Findlay Spokane Dealerships donated $5,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane children's hospital! General Managers Bob Mclean (Lexus), Scott Brewer (Toyota), Steve St. Germain (Honda) and Steve Styren (Hyundai) presented the donation to two of many that serve at the Ronald McDonald House. May, 2014 - Findlay Drive for Good campaign winner! 

This event finally came to an end. We would like to applaud every foundation that participated in this event and give a big thank you to every one for the hard work and service you do for our community.  After months of voting the people have been heard and Findlay Downtown Toyota Spokane is proud to Congratulate the ISAAC Foundation on winning the $5,000 donation given by Findlay Charities and Toyota.

June, 2014 - 25th Anniversary Toyota Shoot-Off Giveaway!

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Hoopfest (largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world) Toyota donated a tricked out Toyota Tacoma to whoever won the half court shoot-off competition. The Sea Gals - Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders - visited the dealership and helped make a promotional video for the event and Findlay Downtown Toyota even had a team participate in Hoopfest. In the end only one could take home the stunning Tacoma and it was Whitworth Alumni Kyle Jordan!! Congrats Kyle, we hope you enjoy your new ride!  

    
   


April, 2014 - Findlay Day of Service

This year for the Day of Service our Findlay Dealerships spent the day helping clean up, manage and plant in various community gardens around Spokane! 

    


May, 2013 - Findlay Drive For Good

Union Gospel Mission Turkey Drive

Thanks again to our customers who generously supported our turkey drive at our Spokane dealerships. On Friday, we delivered three trunkfuls of turkeys to the Union Gospel Mission for their Annual City-Wide Thanksgiving Dinner for the homeless.

May, 2015 - Findlay Drive For Good Campaign 

We partnered with Toyota USA to donate at total of  $20,000 to local Spokane charities and this year the winner was the ISAAC Foundation. Drive for Good is driven by you! You helped us decide where to send our donation by casting your votes on Facebook for the organization that you would like to support.

Congratulations to  Beyond Pink, Camp Stix, Safety Net and Wishing Star for each receiving the most votes in the Findlay Downtown Toyota Spokane Drive For Good Campaign and a $5,000 donation each! April 24, 2015 - Findlay Day of Service 

At this year's Day of Service all four Findlay Dealership staff members gathered together at the new location of the Women & Children's Free Restaurant and Community Kitchen to help get it ready for opening! Volunteer members from LHM Toyota, Hyundai, Honda and Lexus cleaned, moved boxes and inventory, caulked, sanded, landscaped and painted the facility in preparation of its opening.
